Isaiah’s comprehension is still very poor. He still doesn’t understand that the difference between a paper plate and a regular plate and that paper plates go in the trash or the reclying and regular plates go in the sink. Same thing with cutlery – he’ll put, you know, silverware in the trash that needs to go in the sink. You can tell him two step directions, like: Go put your plate in the trash, and go put your fork in the sink. And then he’ll put both of them in the trash, so there’s still that. He knows how to follow directions but not completely. You have to really break it down one step at a time for him.

So, we are continuing to get parasites out pretty regularly, if not every day. We’ve gotten out some 40, the longest one so far has been about 40 inches long. His stomach is still quite bloated. He still has deep sags, bags under his eyes. He’s still very highly, highly autistic. We have a very long way to go with him, and I can’t say he’s made a ton of progress, other than he doesn’t wet the bed any more, which is great, and um, what else? Like I said, he calls me “Mommy.”
He is still very echolalia-ish – repeats almost everything you say. If you ask him questions
that require “yes” or “no,” he can not answer that.
